A major international manufacturer is looking for an experienced Group EHS Manager to lead Environment, Health & Safety performance across multiple European sites while supporting global programmes and initiatives. This role blends hands‐on site engagement with strategic global influence, partnering closely with senior leadership to strengthen compliance, culture, and sustainability across the Business Unit.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support EHS implementation across European sites (c. 60% of the role).
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and EU/local regulations.
  • Guide site EHS teams, drive action plans, and support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support global EHS initiatives, standards, and regulatory frameworks (c. 40%).
  • Develop and maintain safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Lead investigations, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to sustainability, environmental compliance, and global projects.
  • Coach and develop EHS talent across the BU.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in EHS, Environmental Sciences, or related field (Master's a plus).
  • 7+ years' experience in EHS roles within industrial/manufacturing settings.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience with audits, compliance systems, and regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Certifications (CSP, CIH, ISO 14001, etc.) are advantageous.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
