- Senior EHS Coordinator
- 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
- £50,000 per annum with bonus £52,500 PA

Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Exeter and due to ongoing growth of the business they need a Senior EHS Coordinator to join the team.
The ideal candidate will be someone who’s enthusiastic about taking on a challenging but rewarding role whilst ensuring the facility is compliant with both UK and European legislation and company standards for environment, health, and safety.
Requirements needed for this position
- Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing background
- NEBOSH Certificate
- A proven EHS professional able to communicate, work, and influence effectively and efficiently at all levels of the business.
- Good working knowledge of UK and European environment health, and safety legislation
- Key Duties
- Ensuring the facility is fully compliant with both UK legislation and company standards for environment, health, and safety.
- Support EHS Manager with maintenance of environmental permit, waste management program and collation and reporting of ESG data
- Assist with internal and external auditing processes, including support for internal corporate audits.
- Assist with maintaining COSHH systems and give support and guidance to site team members
- Active member of site emergency team, giving leadership and onsite attendance where required.
- Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies.
- Maintenance of H&S Legal Register
- Conduct regular site inspections, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions
- Complete and review risk assessments and safe systems of work in accordance with current legislation and company standards
