Project Manager in Reading

We have partnered with a leading demolition contractor who are recruiting now for multiple Project Managers to take on ownership and responsibility of the decommissioning and demolition of a range of small to large scale structures across the South of England and the UK.

Demolition Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing demolition projects from concept to completion, ensuring key milestones are agreed and met
• Taking full ownership for project scheduling, forecasting, finances & budgets
• Managing project operatives and subcontractors, making sure project requirements, standards and safety regulations are met and adhered to
• Working and communicating with key project stakeholders (internal and external)
• Identifying and mitigating any and all potential risks
• Preparing and submitting project progress reports
• Managing all technical project documentation

Skills/Experience

• 5 years’ experience in the demolition sector working as a Project Manager
• Excellent project management skills, including forecasting, budgeting, stakeholder management and workload prioritisation
• Proficient using project management tools
• CSCS Demolition Manager card holder with a good knowledge of BS6187 & BS5975
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Full and clean driving licence (travel may be required for this role)
