We are supporting a critical components manufacturer in Worcestershire that has recently moved into new ownership and leadership. The business is undergoing a wider transformation while preparing for significant growth, supported by a strong international order book with several OEMs. This position will suit a Manufacturing Engineer with solid process engineering experience gained in regulated and heavy manufacturing environments. Experience from automotive, aerospace or defence would be advantageous.
You will work across a varied product portfolio and play a key role in developing and improving processes as the company strengthens its operations for the future.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, optimise and standardise manufacturing processes across multiple product lines
- Support NPI and ensure strong manufacturing readiness for new and existing products
- Identify and deliver CI activity with practical, measurable outcomes
- Provide hands on technical support to production and help resolve complex process issues
- Work closely with engineering, quality and operations to improve capability and performance
- Contribute to wider transformation work as systems and processes are modernised
- Experience in both regulated and heavy manufacturing
- Process engineering capability from machining, fabrication or assembly environments
- Strong CI skills and a practical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work across a varied product portfolio with shifting priorities
- Confident communication and collaboration across engineering, quality and production
- Interest in being part of a business undertaking meaningful transformation and long term growth
