Our client is expanding its people function and seeks an HR Business Partner to own employee relations while supporting the wider HR strategy across multiple sites.
About you
- Strong employee relations experience with confident case management across disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance
- Comfortable coaching line managers and supporting learning and development interventions
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, transport or similar operational environments
- Able to work across multiple sites with a practical and solutions focused style
- Confident, credible and comfortable influencing at all levels
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
- Able to balance day to day operational delivery with contribution to longer term people strategy
Responsibilities
- Lead on employee relations casework, providing confident advice, coaching and governance across a varied operational workforce
- Support the development of managers through focused learning and development activity
- Contribute to the delivery of a new people strategy including structure, policy, engagement and talent development
- Partner with site leadership teams to identify skills gaps and shape upskilling plans
- Work collaboratively with the broader HR team on group-wide projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support transformation, cultural change and improved people processes across the business
