Our client is a leading manufacturer supplying to customers globally. The work on site is precision manufacturing work with different processes to produce their finished product.
EHS Manager background needed:
- To be well versed in EHS incident reporting, Metric targets and data submission (monthly and quarterly, etc.)
- Responsible for directing incident investigations identifying root causes of EHS Incidents and executing sustainable corrective actions.
- Actively promote EHS awareness
- Actively apply self-verification process and report deviations
- Establish a culture that is aligned with EHS goals and objectives, with continuous EHS improvements
- Responsible for driving processes that will result in a reduction of accidents and injuries, and the identification of potential hazards present in the workplace.
- Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating EHS compliance activities (including insurances recommendations) through functional teams
- Manage and order workwear for direct employees.
Key Tasks and Personal background needed from the EHS Manager:
- In-depth knowledge of all Health & Safety regulatory Standards, plus a working knowledge of QS9000 & BS EN ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Health & Safety role with experience at functional management level
- Liaises and presents information to other team members, other teams and senior management as required.
- Be able to analyse EHS risks and implement action plans.
- Be able to make problem-solving proposals.
- Know the ISO 14001 standards.
- Knowledge of audit techniques.
- Know administrative management techniques.
- Knowledge of electrical risk.
