Due to internal promotions and movement our client is seeking a driver to work with them in a full time, permanent role. The ideal candidate needs to come with a can-do attitude and be wanting to help wherever needed in the business.
Ideal candidate background and responsibilities:
- Full UK driving license
- Happy to drive a van (nothing large, only up to 3.5 tonne)
- FLT experience to help load and unload the van, Counterbalance or Reach would be ideal (the van doesnβt require any special license)
- Previous experience working in either a factory or warehouse as when the candidate finds themselves at a loose end, you will be helping to support the engineering team and despatch team with tasks such as strapping, wrapping and labelling pallets and general duties to make sure the area is clean and ready for the next day.
- Someone to go above and beyond their set hours, this role will require some of your days spent entirely travelling to sites which will include the southwest coast β please note that if you are starting your day earlier to achieve a delivery time you will of course finish your day earlier.
