We are currently seeking a proactive Human Resources Advisor to join our client's manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive HR support while functioning as an integral member of a busy HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional front-line advisory service that supports employees and managers with HR policy, process, and system queries.
- Support the review, update and implementation of existing HR policies and procedures and associated documentation including forms, in line with employment legislation and best practice.
- Support the preparation of HR policies for employees’ access on the internal drives.
- Support the HR Team Leader in the delivery of a professional, proactive, expert telephone and written ER advisory service to managers across the business.
- Manage cases such as conduct matters, capability, and other employee relations issues.
- Lead and produce the weekly and monthly HR metrics and provide a comprehensive analysis of the data in preparation for presentation to the Plant Managers and the Corporate HR team.
- Prepare payroll information, ensuring this is submitted to the payroll team along with the checking of the monthly payroll file.
- Prepare and process periodic bonus payments and pay cycle amendments together with the associated employee documentation and communication.
- Review key learning points from cases/projects and support changes, improvements and learning activity.
- Support the people strategy and implementation of HR initiatives.
