We have partnered with a leading independent industrial processing and manufacturing company in the heart of the West Midlands who are currently recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager to lead their highly-skilled electrical and instrumentation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing & leading a team of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers, as well as contractors (where applicable)
- Taking ownership of the design, specification and installation of electrical and instrumentation project work, namely the introduction of new equipment
- Managing project budgets
- Taking responsibility for the development, deployment and operation of all electrical and instrumentation maintenance systems & procedures
Skills/Experience
- Qualified to HNC/HND level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Systems as a minimum
- Sound understanding of ATEX, COMAH or high-hazardous classification areas
- Ideally 5+ years in a supervisory/management capacity within an electrical engineering, automation or instrumentation background
- An understanding of functional safety within an industrial, process driven environment
- Expert knowledge in PLC & HMI programming
