A leading manufacturer is seeking the right individual to join their team as a TIG Welder working at their Frimley site carrying out TIG, and occasional MIG welding, of stainless steel and other sheet metal-based materials.
Requirements:
- Proven background and experience in stainless steel TIG welding (coded will be advantageous)
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experienced using a variety of hand tools
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well organised and communicative
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing TIG and MIG welding duties
- Ensuring produced fabrications meet rigorous and industry leading standards
- Supporting production and quality teams with inspections
- Supporting the enhancement of process improvements and continuous improvements implementation
- Developing methods of manufacture
Other/Benefits:

- Profit Share Scheme – paid 6 monthly (Mar & Sept). While this is based on Company profit and is therefore not guaranteed, it is designed to pay approx. 3% of salary across a year
- Enhanced Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme – After 3 months service, employer pays 5% where an employee pays 3%
- 24 days holiday (running Jan-Dec) plus bank holidays, increasing with service. 3-4 days are to be used for the December shut down
