We have partnered with a leading independent industrial processing and manufacturing company in the heart of the West Midlands who are currently recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager to lead their highly-skilled electrical and instrumentation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing & leading a team of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers, as well as contractors (where applicable)
  • Taking ownership of the design, specification and installation of electrical and instrumentation project work, namely the introduction of new equipment
  • Managing project budgets
  • Taking responsibility for the development, deployment and operation of all electrical and instrumentation maintenance systems & procedures

Skills/Experience

  • Qualified to HNC/HND level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Systems as a minimum
  • Sound understanding of ATEX, COMAH or high-hazardous classification areas
  • Ideally 5+ years in a supervisory/management capacity within an electrical engineering, automation or instrumentation background
  • An understanding of functional safety within an industrial, process driven environment
  • Expert knowledge in PLC & HMI programming
