The Role: Moorgate is a fully inclusive primary school in the Tonge Moor area of Bolton. We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team. You will support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 2 -11 in a safe and nurturing environment. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be resilient and have good time management.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities
- Ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
- Working closely with colleagues and parents
- Observing and recording children’s development
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Experience of working with or caring for children within an educational setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
