The MFH Co‑ordinator works closely with social services, the police, education providers, health services, and any other relevant service to track and respond to missing incidents. You will work closely with the MFH Co‑ordinator who is a safeguarding specialist who manages and tracks episodes when children go missing from home or care and is key in supporting the safety and wellbeing of some of Bolton's most vulnerable children and young people.
The role is supporting the Co‑ordinator in varied admin tasks. Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Recording and uploading information from Return Interviews
- Monitoring and tracking the frequency of missing episodes
- Running reports from Bolton's children's case management system
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting the effective operation of the service
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in this role, as maintaining up-to-date and reliable records is a key part of ensuring children receive the appropriate support and safeguarding response. Full training on processes and systems will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.

You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision. You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work. Experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well‑presented documents is essential, as is a demonstrable ability to handle cash and be able to record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures.
