About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Senior Solar Roofer to join our growing installation team and play a key role in delivering high-quality solar PV systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and is ready to step into a senior position, supporting others on-site while still being actively involved in installations. You’ll be the go-to person for roofing expertise, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installation Excellence
- Install solar PV mounting systems on pitched and flat roofs
- Carry out advanced roofing work (tiling, flashing, sealing, weatherproofing)
- Ensure all work maintains roof integrity and compliance
- Take ownership of more complex or bespoke installations
- Technical Support
- Support the Lead Installer with on-site technical decisions
- Identify and resolve installation or roofing challenges
- Ensure installations match design specifications
- Quality Assurance
- Maintain exceptional standards across all installations
- Identify and fix issues before they become defects
- Support final checks before project handover
- Mentoring
