What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and commissioning solar PV systems
- Installing battery storage and hybrid inverter systems
- Completing AC and DC electrical works
- Inspection, testing and electrical certification
- Commissioning inverters, batteries and monitoring platforms
- Configuring CT clamps, meters and communication equipment
- Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
- Completing remedial works where required
- Ensuring all installations comply with BS7671, MCS requirements and manufacturer guidelines
- Completing accurate commissioning records and certification
- Working closely with our Solar Project Manager and Design Engineer to deliver exceptional installations
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with inspection, testing and electrical certification
- Solar PV installation experience
- Battery storage installation experience
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
- ECS Gold Card
- MCS installation experience
- Manufacturer training on solar PV and battery systems
- Experience with domestic and commercial renewable energy installations
