  • Lead or contribute to technical reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
  • Produce equipment specifications and engineering documentation for LV and HV switchboards, generators, transformers, power electronic converters, motors, cables, auxiliary equipment, and AC and DC power system architecture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong systems‑level electrical engineering experience and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
  • Experience with electrical power systems, power system modelling, electronics, generators, motors, transformers, electrical distribution equipment, commissioning and testing of electrical systems, engineering documentation and technical reporting.
  • Experience with Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD), generator excitation systems, or electrical drive systems would be highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of engineering standards such as IEC, MIL, DEF, or marine classification society standards.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Working towards or already holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is advantageous.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge electrical power and propulsion technologies.
  • Exposure to complex, large‑scale engineering programmes supporting critical UK projects.
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
