An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Test Engineer to join a growing team focused on Control and Automation systems, with a particular emphasis on.

This is a hands-on technical role, working across a wide range of systems—from industrial controllers and network infrastructure to field devices and operator HMIs. In this role, you will play a key part in system validation and testing, applying both manual and automated approaches. We are looking for someone who can contribute to improving our testing frameworks, helping to shift more of our manual processes into automated workflows. You will help ensure the performance, reliability, safety, and cybersecurity of our systems meet the highest standards for critical industrial applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out validation and testing of automation systems in accordance with recognized industry standards such as ISA18.2, ISA-95, and IEC 62443.
  • Developing test strategies and documentation including plans and detailed specifications.
  • Implementing and improving automated testing tools to boost test coverage and efficiency.
  • Investigating test outcomes, identifying issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Documenting all test procedures, outcomes, and follow-up actions thoroughly and accurately.
  • Supporting ongoing process improvements to optimize testing effectiveness and reduce time-to-delivery.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field—or significant equivalent experience in industry.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
  • A solid understanding of Operational Technology (OT) systems, including SCADA, DCS, and the Purdue model.
  • Proven experience in test and validation engineering, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Awareness of industry compliance and validation standards in the automation and control space.
  • Experience in Power, Marine, Oil & Gas, or Industrial sectors.
