Are you an experienced Logistics Co-ordinator with strong import/export and customs compliance expertise? We're looking for a proactive professional to manage the efficient movement of goods into and out of the UK, with a particular focus on exports across Europe.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating UK-to-Europe exports, primarily via road freight
- Managing express courier shipments through DHL and other providers
- Preparing and reviewing export documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Working closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Tracking shipments and resolving logistics issues proactively
- Managing customer returns and ensuring correct customs procedures are followed
- Supporting import clearance activities, including overseas purchases, samples, and returned goods
- Applying the correct Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs) and ensuring customs compliance
- Maintaining compliance with Incoterms 2020, UK customs regulations, and IPR requirements
- Identifying process improvements to strengthen logistics operations and reduce risk
What We're Looking For
- Experience in logistics, import/export, customs, or international trade
- Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020 and UK customs procedures
- Experience coordinating European exports via road freight and courier services
- Knowledge of Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs) and customs clearance processes
- Understanding of Inward Processing Relief (IPR) requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment is advantageous
