Green Data Talent is partnered up with a leader in renewable energy and power generation who are currently in the market for a Field Service Engineer. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced automation and control systems across a variety of industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of automated systems and machinery.
- Providing technical support and training to clients on-site.
- Diagnosing faults across PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
- Deliver technical reports and documentation post-service.
- Preparing, planning, testing and commissioning high and low voltage automation system upgrades.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks and training across all automation systems, both onshore and offshore for customers.
Requirements:
- Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a field service role within industrial automation or controls.
- Strong understanding of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms and electrical fault-finding.
- Due to the nature of work all applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance.
