Passenger Assistant- Term Time Only.

*Maternity cover. 12 months*

Split Shift, Monday to Friday 07:15-09:30– and 14:30-16:45

Main Duties

The School Contract post will involve taking children and young people to a specialist school in the morning and returning them in the afternoon.

The Passenger Assistant supports the children/young people on their journey to and from school, works as a team with the driver to ensure the passengers have a safe and fun journey to and from school.

For the post a friendly, responsible person is required. Experience of working with people with disabilities and/or additional needs is desirable. You will build a positive relationship with the children/young people and their parents/carers.

Following the necessary procedures, such as health and safety, safeguarding, equal opportunities etc.

GCT will arrange the necessary training for this role

Part-time hours: 22.5 hours per week

Experience:

• working with children with additional needs: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• DBS certificate (preferred)
