Build world-class carbon fibre components. We're recruiting six experienced Composite Laminators to join a friendly, growing advanced composites manufacturer in Oxford. Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll produce high-quality carbon fibre components for technically demanding engineering applications where precision and craftsmanship are everything. The Role
Working as part of an experienced composites team, you'll manufacture advanced prepreg carbon fibre components from engineering drawings and ply books through to cured parts ready for trimming and assembly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tool preparation and mould preparation
- Reading engineering drawings and ply books
- Correct ply orientation and material placement
- Vacuum bagging and debulking
- Preparing components for autoclave cure
- Demoulding finished components
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and FOD standards
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from Composite Laminators with a minimum of three years' experience within an advanced composites environment. Ideally you'll have experience of:
- Composite tooling
- Autoclave manufacturing
- High-quality cosmetic carbon fibre
- Aerospace, motorsport, Formula 1, automotive or other advanced composites manufacturing
You’ll also have excellent attention to detail, take pride in your workmanship and enjoy working as part of a close-knit production team.
