In this role you’ll empower the young people to live independently, build confidence, and thrive in their own homes and communities. The service is based in Taunton and the home is of a very high standard and the young people are encouraged to be proud of and look after their home. There are day and waking night hours available. Whether you are looking to start a career in social care or bringing years of experience, this is a chance to make a meaningful impact to the lives of young people and be part of a supportive team. • Safeguarding by remaining vigilant to risks and concerns, following safeguarding protocols and reporting concerns promptly at all times.
  • Build positive relationships and establish trusting and professional relationships with young people, acting as a positive role model and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

To be considered for this role you will have care experience, ideally with children and young people, with knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
