The post is based in a service that provides residential care to children with a range of needs including emotional and behavioural. You will provide care and support to the children and young people in the service. Your duties will include:

  • Providing care and support to young people
  • Providing guidance and help
  • Helping with activities, education and daily living tasks
  • Helping children to settle into the service
  • Helping with preparation for leaving care services

Full training and induction is provided, so if you are looking for your first role in social care, this will be a great opportunity. You must have a caring nature and you will need to be patient, understanding and be able to build rapport and relationships with vulnerable young people. As this is a 24/7 service you will be required to work a range of shifts to include sleep ins. Immediate interviews are available.
