A rewarding and challenging Team Leader role has arisen with a fantastic organisation that provides a range of services to children and young people. The position comes with a great salary and benefits. The post is based in a service that provides residential care to children with a range of needs including learning disabilities and autism. You will provide care and support to the children and young people in the service.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing care and support to young people
  • Providing guidance and help
  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Helping with activities, education and daily living tasks
  • Helping children to settle into the service
  • Helping with preparation for leaving care services

To be considered for this great role you must have experience of working with and supporting children on the autism spectrum. As this is a senior role it is essential that you hold Level 3 Children and Young People and you will be a driver. You will need to be patient, understanding and be able to build rapport and relationships with vulnerable young people.
