Job Title: Site Manager – Solar PV (Domestic Installations) Location: Southwest (travel required) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Reports To: Project Manager / Operations Manager Salary- £45K – £50K + Vehicle About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Site Manager to oversee multiple Solar PV installations on domestic properties across the UK. This is a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of projects in line with industry standards and client expectations. You will be responsible for coordinating on-site activities, managing installation teams, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, and maintaining clear communication between the project and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the day-to-day site operations of multiple domestic Solar PV installations * Oversee installation teams, ensuring works are completed to specification, on time and within budget * Carry out site inspections and ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements * Monitor and enforce Health & Safety policies, including conducting risk assessments and toolbox talks * Coordinate deliveries, site access, and scheduling of subcontractors * Liaise with clients, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery * Provide technical support and quality control across all live sites * Ensure accurate completion of site documentation and reports * Assist with commissioning and handover processes Essential Skills & Experience: * Proven experience managing Solar PV installations on domestic properties * Relevant electrical qualifications, such as: * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * ECS/CSCS Card (gold or black preferred) * Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and site management procedures * SMSTS or SSSTS qualification (preferred) * Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally as required Desirable: * Experience with battery storage integration * Knowledge of MCS standards and compliance * First Aid certification What We Offer: * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Company vehicle or vehicle allowance * Fuel card and travel expenses * Ongoing training and development opportunities * A growing, supportive team environment within the renewable energy sector
