Job Title: ECO Sales Executive Department: ECO Team Reports to: ECO Sales Manager Location: Birkenhead – Office based About Our Client Our client is dedicated to helping households reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint. Through government-backed ECO (Energy Company Obligation) schemes, they deliver energy-efficient home improvements such as insulation, heating upgrades, and renewable energy solutions. They are growing fast and are looking for a driven, people-focused Sales Executive to join their ECO team and help more customers access energy-saving support. Purpose of the Role The ECO Sales Executive will generate leads, build relationships, and guide customers through funded energy-efficiency measures under the ECO scheme. You’ll explain eligibility, outline available grants, and coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth installations. Key Responsibilities * Identify and engage with eligible customers for ECO-funded measures (via inbound/outbound leads, community outreach, or field visits). * Explain the benefits of ECO schemes clearly and in plain English. * Gather and verify customer details to confirm eligibility for funding. * Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, and appointments in the CRM system. * Liaise with surveyors, installers, and the admin team to progress jobs efficiently. * Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets. * Represent our client professionally and uphold company values. * Stay up to date with ECO scheme changes, funding options, and energy-efficiency products. Skills and Experience Required Essential – MUST HAVE! * Experience in ECO, renewables, or energy-efficiency sectors. * Understanding of ECO4 or Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS). * Proven sales or customer service experience (face-to-face or telephone). * Confident communicator with strong people skills. * Target-driven, self-motivated, and organised. * Basic IT and CRM skills. * Ability to explain technical or funding information simply and clearly.
