Quantity Surveyor - Cladding in Devon, Exeter

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Façades Location: Exeter/surrounding areas Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum Our Client: Our client is a leading façade and cladding specialist delivering high-value commercial and residential projects. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Cardiff team, supporting complex Re-Cladding projects of up to £24m. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile schemes within a rapidly growing company. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for façade and Re-Cladding projects. * Monitor project costs, track financial performance, and manage variations. * Produce interim valuations, progress reports, and financial reconciliations. * Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and contractors to resolve commercial and contractual matters. * Conduct risk assessments, cost analysis, and value engineering exercises. * Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and industry regulations. Essential Experience & Skills: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on façade or Re-Cladding projects, ideally up to £24m. * Strong knowledge of measurement, cost planning, and commercial management. * Experience with contracts, procurement, and tendering processes. * Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills. * Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and cost management tools.
