We are looking for an exceptional Solar Surveyor who is as good with people as they are with property assessments. At Green Bulb Energy, we don't believe in pushy sales tactics. Our reputation is built on trust, professionalism, and delivering genuinely great customer experiences, and we need someone who represents that in every home they visit.

The Role

You’ll be carrying out residential solar and battery surveys across Kent and the South East, meeting homeowners face-to-face and helping design systems that genuinely work for their homes and energy usage. This role is NOT just about measurements and roof assessments.

We are looking for someone who:

  • builds instant rapport,
  • communicates clearly and confidently,
  • makes customers feel comfortable,
  • and represents the company professionally from the moment they arrive.

You’ll be the bridge between our sales team, design team, and customers, so attention to detail and people skills are equally important.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong command of the English language
  • Friendly, professional, and highly presentable. Coachable.
  • Comfortable speaking with homeowners from all backgrounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organised and reliable. Punctual and self-disciplined.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous solar, roofing, electrical, or surveying experience preferred (but personality matters just as much)
  • Experience In Any Of The Following Is A Bonus:
    • Solar PV surveying
    • Battery storage systems
    • Roofing or construction
    • Electrical knowledge
    • Drone surveying
    • CAD/design software

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting site surveys for solar and battery installations
  • Assessing roofs, consumer units, and installation suitability
  • Taking measurements and photographs
  • Explaining systems to customers in a clear, non-technical way
  • Working closely with our design and operations teams
  • Delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout
