Your Role

As a Machine Guidance Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all machine guidance systems run optimally, including installation, troubleshooting, and demobilisation.
  • Reviewing 3D models for compliance and creating temporary models for upload via Works Manager.
  • Setting up GNSS networks and establishing site control.
  • Converting LandXML/DWG models into Trimble Business Centre and ensuring accurate uploads to machines.
  • Assisting with QA surveys, reporting material quantities, and supporting site engineering functions.
  • Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring it is regularly checked and calibrated.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A team player who can step up and lead when needed.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to add value and improve processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a surveyor in a machine control environment.
  • CSCS Card and a full UK Driver’s Licence (4x4 training will be provided).

Desirable:

  • Degree or HNC in surveying or a related field.
  • Professional registration as a surveyor.
