Family-Owned Business | South West | Multi-Site Leadership Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a long-established, family-owned service business operating across the South West.

For more than 30 years, the business has built a reputation for delivering dependable service and developing long-term customer relationships.

Operating across multiple depots, it supports clients within hospitality, healthcare, education, offices, construction and industrial sectors, where service quality and customer care are central to its success.

Reporting to the leadership team, you'll oversee the day-to-day performance of three locations, working closely with depot managers to ensure safe, efficient operations and consistently high service standards.

This is a visible leadership role where you'll spend time with your teams, building strong relationships, coaching managers and creating an environment where people can perform at their best.

You'll help develop capability, encourage accountability and support continuous improvement while maintaining an excellent customer experience.

This is not a desk-based role—you'll be out in the business, understanding challenges first-hand and helping teams find practical solutions.

You'll also support the Operations / IT Director in improving systems, CRM and reporting, using data and technology to strengthen planning, operational performance and customer outcomes.

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager or General Manager from a field-based, logistics, facilities management or service-led environment.

You'll be comfortable leading multiple teams, using KPIs to drive performance and developing people through a collaborative leadership style.

In return, you'll join a business where your ideas are valued, decisions are made quickly and you'll have the autonomy to make a genuine impact on both the business and the people within it.
