Green Barks Search has been retained to appoint a Digital Earthworks Engineer to support major infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an opportunity to join one of the strongest earthworks teams in the country, delivering large and technically complex projects where digital engineering, machine control technology and surveying come together to drive productivity and precision on site.

Working within a highly experienced professional services team, you will play a key role in ensuring that design data is translated into accurate 3D models for machine-guided earthworks. Supporting project teams across multiple sites, you will help ensure machines operate from correct, approved models while maintaining clear digital records and supporting measurement and reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Converting design data into construction-ready 3D models
  • Reviewing and deploying machine control files
  • Supporting earthworks modelling requirements
  • Assisting with the capture and reporting of material quantities across projects

You will work closely with Survey Managers and Engineers to ensure the digital workflows supporting site operations run efficiently. This role would suit someone currently working as a Machine Control Specialist, Digital Construction Engineer, Survey Modelling Engineer, or an experienced Surveyor with machine control experience who enjoys working with modern technology and wants to continue developing within digital construction.

You will be joining a team with a strong reputation for delivering major projects and developing technical specialists. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while gaining exposure to large infrastructure schemes and continuing to build your expertise in digital earthworks.
