How to prepare for a job interview at Green Apple Dental
✨Know Your Stuff
Before heading into the interview, make sure you’re familiar with the practice's details and the specific role of a Locum Dentist. Brush up on your knowledge of NHS procedures, Denplan, and FPI patients, as well as the software they use like SOE. This will show that you're genuinely interested and prepared.
✨Showcase Your Experience
Be ready to discuss your past experiences in mixed practices and how you've handled various patient types. Highlight any specific cases where you’ve excelled, especially in areas like rotary endodontics or working with an experienced nursing team. This will help them see how you can fit into their established practice.
✨Prepare Your Compliance Documents
Make sure you have all your compliance documents in order before the interview. This includes your NHS Performer Number, GDC certificate, and recent blood test reports. Being organised with these will not only save time but also demonstrate your professionalism and readiness to start.
✨Ask Thoughtful Questions
At the end of the interview, don’t forget to ask questions! Inquire about the practice culture, the support from the owner/practice manager, or how the hygiene therapist collaborates with dentists. This shows that you’re not just looking for any job, but are genuinely interested in being part of their team.
