Part Time Specialist in Special Care Dentistry required for 15 hours per week in a busy, mixed, well established practice near Bodmin, Cornwall.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering treatment in a way that’s thoughtful, personalised, and built around individual needs.
- Working with patients who face barriers to accessing care.
- Providing dental care to special care adults and young people.
- Undertaking the delivery of dentistry services using conscious sedation techniques.
- Delivery of dental care under General Anaesthesia if appropriately trained.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues with special care patients.
Requirements:
- GDC registration, without conditions with experience or a strong interest in Special Care Dentistry.
- A calm, flexible mindset with a real passion for inclusive dentistry.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues across disciplines.
