Position Summary / Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specially designed instruction to students with disabilities
- Implement and deliver special education programs
- Progress monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with related service providers to share student progress and address concerns
- Communicate with families on a regular basis to share progress and address concerns
- Develop students' IEPs and participate in CSE meetings
- Collect and analyze student data for the purposes of progress reporting on IEPs and student report cards
- Administer formative and summative assessments for purposes of instructional planning and progress monitoring
- Provide direction and guidance to support staff working in the classroom
- Participate in staff meetings and in Professional Learning Communities as well as engage in professional learning
