Salary: $17.00/Hour Minimum
Bargaining Unit: Teamsters Contract
Report Times: 10:00am- 2:00pm
Daily Hours: 4 Paid
Work Year: 12 months
Supervisor: Director of Facilities
Minimum Requirements
- There are no education or experience qualifications for this position.
Desired Qualifications
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position;
- Ability to complete general cleaning tasks, move boxes and furniture, operate machinery used to maintain floors;
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions;
- Working knowledge of building cleaning procedures, materials and equipment;
- Working knowledge of cleaning agents and proper applications;
- Daily attendance is expected.
Position Summary/Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, dust, sanitize, mop, vacuum, and perform minor repairs within the school building;
- Perform maintenance on quarry, terrazzo and wood flooring;
- Strip and finish resilient tile floors;
- Extract and shampoo carpets; perform spot removal;
- Lawn care and sidewalk snow removal;
- Other duties as required.
