Minimum Requirements:
- There are no education or experience qualifications for this position.
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of building cleaning procedures, materials and equipment
- Working knowledge of cleaning agents and proper applications
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
- Ability to complete general cleaning tasks, move boxes and furniture, operate machinery used to maintain floors
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Daily attendance is expected
Responsibilities:
- Wash, clean, dust, sanitize, mop, vacuum, and perform minor repairs within the school building
- Perform maintenance on quarry, terrazzo and wood flooring
- Strip and finish resilient tile floors
- Extract and shampoo carpets; perform spot removal
- Lawn care and sidewalk/snow removal
- Other duties as required
