The Company: A provider of Returnable Packaging Solutions who are looking to recruit a Junior Marketing Executive. The focus on the business is to reduce the level of single use packaging in the supply chain, creating a more sustainable future and the Junior Marketing Executive will be key in promoting this message.
Purpose of Role:
- The Junior Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the marketing needs for the Group.
- This is a Hybrid role 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
- Manage and maintain the organisation’s website.
- Promote and update social media presences. Develop a Social media calendar with regular communications with particular focus on sustainability.
- Create and manage a digital newsletter.
- Work with the sales leadership team on all front-line marketing activities – design and develop marketing materials including web content, social media content, spec sheets, videos, instruction sheets and presentations.
- Coordinate and attend trade shows and exhibitions.
- Assist in the preparations for customer & visitor meetings and presentations. Create necessary signage (posters, digital screens, etc.) for customer meetings as well as develop presentations.
- CRM - manage and maintain usage, policies and procedures for CRM software administration and reports. Training of new personnel on CRM and monitoring usage. Weekly and monthly reporting including funnel, quotation and productivity analysis.
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
- Lead the internal sustainability group, organise events and communicate with the business.
- Design marketing material including brochures and leaflets.
- Manage a marketing budget by executing the planned activities, monitoring cost and report against a marketing budget.
Previous Experience:
- Must have at least 3 years previous experience within a Marketing role.
- A CIM qualification would be preferred but not essential.
- An understanding of a manufacturing / distribution business would be highly advantageous.
Product Knowledge & Skills:
- Employee engagements, Events and Traditional Marketing.
- Expert level of Power Point/other presentation media, proficient level of MS Office.
- Knowledge of web design, video or other creative software abilities would be an advantage.
- Energetic, self-starter, result orientated, organized and detail orientated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
- Excellent writing skills to create copy for marketing materials of technical products.
- Team Player and works well as being “part of a team”.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
Salary: Up to £35,000 pa depending on experience plus an annual bonus dependent on the Group’s success, company pension.
