Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth workflow, optimal resource utilisation, and adherence to quality standards.

Your leadership will directly impact the productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall success of our operations.\\nQualifications and knowledge:\\n * Production Management Ensure efficient production planning and execution to meet demand and quality standards.\\n * Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\\n * Quality Control: Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain high standards in product output.\\n * Workforce Supervision: Lead and support production teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\\n * Maintenance & Downtime Reduction: Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and ensure equipment reliability.\\n * Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold safety protocols and regulatory compliance in line with industry best practices.\\n * Cost & Inventory Control: Monitor budgeting, inventory, and supply chain efficiency to optimize costs.\\n * Reporting & Strategy: Provide data-driven insights and reports to the Site Plant Manager for strategic decision-making.\\nSkills and experience:\\n * Proven experience in operations or production management in a manufacturing environment (Ppreferably plastics or packaging).\\n * Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficiency-driven methodologies.\\n * Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.\\n * Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in manufacturing.\\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.\\n * Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.\\n * Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and senior management
