We require a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children to join our caring school.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
- Provide general assistance to teaching staff throughout the school.
- Occasionally provide cover for whole classes or when required.
- Work calmly with any incidents that may arise and provide basic first aid where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of different learning needs including special educational needs.
- Effective behaviour management skills.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, reliability and commitment to raising pupil achievement while safeguarding children and contributing positively to school life and teamwork.
