We require a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children to join our caring school.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
  • Provide general assistance to teaching staff throughout the school.
  • Occasionally provide cover for whole classes or when required.
  • Work calmly with any incidents that may arise and provide basic first aid where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Awareness of different learning needs including special educational needs.
  • Effective behaviour management skills.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, reliability and commitment to raising pupil achievement while safeguarding children and contributing positively to school life and teamwork.
