About the role

Awaab’s Law requires social landlords to investigate and address emergency and significant hazards within defined timescales taking a risk based approach for our homes and customers.. HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System), is also a key requirement to keep our homes and customers safe.

As our Housing Hazards Coordinator you will support the Repairs & Maintenance Manager by collecting, validating, updating and analysing the data needed to maintain compliance with both .

You will review information daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly, helping to ensure cases are monitored and progressed within the required timescales and providing accurate performance insights that drive continuous improvement and support effective decision-making.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain accurate, dynamic reporting to demonstrate compliance with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS.
  • Monitor planned and remedial works, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and supports timely action.
  • Produce compliance reports, identify improvements, make recommendations and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Manage and retrieve operational data using systems including Mobysoft, Keystone, Orchard and Service Connect.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to promote clear ownership of Awaab’s Law and HHSRS responsibilities.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and other stakeholders.

What you will bring

  • An understanding of housing compliance legislation and guidance, particularly Awaab’s Law and HHSRS, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret information and present clear insights.
  • Confident using operational data management systems; experience of Mobysoft, Keystone, Orchard or Service Connect would be advantageous.
  • Effective organisation skills, with the ability to monitor multiple cases and deadlines.
