Are you passionate about good governance, regulatory compliance, and making a meaningful impact in the housing sector? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Governance and Business Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
As our Governance and Business Assurance Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting our governance framework, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing assurance across the organisation. You'll work closely with the Governance and Business Assurance Manager and Company Secretary, acting as a trusted point of contact for Board Members and helping to shape our governance culture.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Acting as the main point of contact for Board members and supporting Board & Committee meetings.
- Coordinating responses to regulatory consultations and supporting regulatory inspections.
- Maintaining governance registers and facilitating Board appraisals and training.
- Assisting with risk management, business continuity planning, and data protection compliance.
- Writing governance reports and creating accurate minutes for our Board and Committees with excellent attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with:
- Experience in a similar governance role.
- Experience with regulatory inspections and risk management.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with sound judgement and critical reasoning.
Desirable: Experience in the housing sector.
