Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of general repairs and maintenance tasks within occupied and void properties, using multiple trades and skills, ensuring work is completed to a high standard. Tasks include but are not limited to carpentry, plumbing works, plastering, wall tiling, general repairs, mould treatment, etc., plus any tasks that may match your skillset.
• Carry out mould treatment and remedial work to a high standard in line with the requirements of Awaab’s Law.
• Provide and promote high‑quality customer care to all Greatwell Homes customers, ensuring key communication with customers is carried out to keep them up to date on work progress.
• Ensure all undertakings of works comply with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations and organisational procedures.

About you

• Experience of working within a multi‑trade / multi‑skill role.
• Experience of working in occupied domestic properties and dealing with customers, including vulnerable people.
• Proven track record of complying with safe systems of work in areas accessible to the general public and the use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to use hand‑held personal digital assistant (PDA) technology efficiently.
• Your physical fitness and strength should allow you to lift awkward and heavy items [subject to any reasonable adjustments].
• Strong knowledge of the use of appropriate trade tools and safe methods of use.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
