A specialist education technology provider supporting schools and MultiâAcademy Trusts across the SouthâEast is seeking an IT Support Engineer to be based onâsite at a wellâestablished secondary school in Surrey. This organisation delivers modern, enterpriseâgrade IT infrastructure to the education sector and works closely with leadership teams to ensure reliable, secure and forwardâthinking technology environments.
Location: Croydon (Site based)
Salary: ÂŁ26,000 - ÂŁ30,000 DOE + Bens
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Role
You will act as the dedicated onâsite IT Engineer, providing dayâtoâday user support while administering and maintaining the school's IT systems and network infrastructure. The schools are investing in modern technologies to support nextâgeneration teaching, offering strong technical exposure in a progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive IT support to teaching and support staff
- Administer and maintain Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) environments
- Support Windows 11 devices and Microsoft 365 services
- Maintain wired and wireless networks, firewalls and filtering systems
- Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, mobile devices and AV equipment
- Keep users informed on issue resolution and system updates
