A specialist education technology provider supporting schools and Multi-Academy Trusts across the South-East is seeking an IT Support Engineer to be based on-site at a well-established secondary school in Surrey. This organisation delivers modern, enterprise-grade IT infrastructure to the education sector and works closely with leadership teams to ensure reliable, secure and forward-thinking technology environments.
Location: Croydon (Site based)
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 DOE + Bens
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Role
You will act as the dedicated on-site IT Engineer, providing day-to-day user support while administering and maintaining the school’s IT systems and network infrastructure. The schools are investing in modern technologies to support next-generation teaching, offering strong technical exposure in a progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive IT support to teaching and support staff
- Administer and maintain Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) environments
- Support Windows 11 devices and Microsoft 365 services
- Maintain wired and wireless networks, firewalls and filtering systems
- Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, mobile devices and AV equipment
- Keep users informed on issue resolution and system updates
