This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Technician with experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support who enjoys working in a busy school environment. You will work alongside an established IT team, supporting staff and students while helping to maintain the school's IT infrastructure.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 36 hours per week, all year round
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to staff and students.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
- Install, configure and maintain IT equipment and systems.
- Respond to IT support tickets and resolve technical issues.
- Support the maintenance of servers, networks and IT security.
About You
- Previous experience in a 1st or 2nd line IT support role.
- Good understanding of Windows systems, networking and IT hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience working within a school or education environment would be advantageous.
- A proactive, approachable attitude with excellent customer service skills.
