We invest in best-in-class private equity funds screened for ESG criteria, with a pledge to share at least 50 percent of the gains with high-impact education NGOs.
What are we looking for?
- Essential: You have at least 3 years of experience of financial management, analysis or accounting. You’re a self-starter, comfortable managing and executing with minimal guidance. You have native or near-native English fluency. You’re organized, detail-oriented.
- Desirable: You’ve analysed UK charity accounts.
What will you be doing? We are looking for a volunteer to support our due diligence process with eight education NGOs. You will join us in late September / early October to help review financial materials and prepare analysis for our committee.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Review audited accounts and management accounts provided by NGOs.
- Assess financial health across select indicators such as reserves, deficits, income fluctuations, reliance on single funders (over a 3-year horizon), and overall liquidity.
- Support the preparation of clarification questions for NGOs where information is incomplete or unclear.
- Track receipt of NGO responses and follow up where needed.
- Assist in preparing short “traffic light” assessments for each NGO, highlighting strengths, risks, and areas requiring further monitoring.
- Contribute to a consolidated comparison table of all NGOs, showing key ratios and any red flags.
- Help draft the financial section of the committee briefing pack.
