An exciting opportunity has arisen at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Accountant to join the Management Accounts Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant within the Salford, Trafford & Talking Therapies CG of the Management Accounts team, ensuring that clients receive effective financial support and advice including the provision of relevant accurate and timely financial information.
You will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills and a real commitment to excellent service delivery. You must be creative and innovative, with the desire and ability to propose changes to working practices and procedures.
Main duties of the job:
- To provide management accountancy services, ensuring relevant, accurate and timely financial advice and information.
- To provide an up-to-date accurate financial position with regards to the areas within your responsibility.
- To assist the Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner to provide first class high quality Strategic/Operational financial information for both internal and external reporting.
