An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within Wigan Talking Therapies. This opportunity will enable the successful applicant to work alongside the leadership team of a high-performing Talking Therapy service while being supported and supervised by senior staff. Wigan Talking Therapies has a history of high performance within the talking therapy sector and a reputation for providing various opportunities for staff to develop professionally. The post holder will support the delivery of the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) delivered interventions within Wigan Talking Therapies. The role will offer the opportunity to influence the development of Step 2 provision and develop innovative ways of meeting relevant population needs. There will be scope for audit, evaluation, networking and liaising with the wider health and social care system including voluntary agencies. The clinical aspect of the role will include 1:1 sessions (remote and face to face), screening, C-CBT, group work and telephone assessment with patients with common mental health problems. The successful applicant will be required to work one evening per week.
