An excellent opportunity has arisen to recruit a Community Psychiatric Nurse/Care Co-ordinator into our busy Community Mental Health Team for Later Life.
The area covered by the post is Central Later Life CMHT Manchester.
We are looking for an experienced, committed, and motivated professional to work with older people living with dementia or functional illnesses.
We are a friendly and supportive team and encourage professional and personal development.
Main duties of the job
- Complete Memory Assessments (training will be provided)
- Conduct initial assessments
- Participate in Duty Rota

- Pay enhancements: 30% additional for evenings (8 pm onwards) and Saturdays, 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
- Annual leave: 27 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years.
- Experience working with older adults with mental health needs.
- Experience working in a community setting.

- Experience working with service users with organic and functional illnesses.
- Experience supervising junior staff or students.
Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of the role of Community Mental Health Teams.
